A complaint of love by Midnight Springs
(Chinese New Romance)

A paradise of paradise

There was lone smoke outside Mount Minsha.
The Gobi is a land of Tibetan people.
Oasis of the millennium turquoise,
There was no help in the struggle.

It was a slanting day,
The wind is cold in the north.
It's difficult to get around.
A tear,
Where is the emperor?
What a pity.

(Introduction: Tian Yisheng, real name Xia Jinji, a native of Guizhou, PhD in Business Administration at European University.) Peking University does not have a signed writer for the unnamed HKU literary society. )

Comments:

Contemporary poet Tian Yisheng's poem "Confessing to Love and the Spring of the Moon" constructs a picture of life in the Gobi Desert in a minimalist space with a cool and robust brush. The whole word progresses layer by layer under the dual themes of "isolation" and "resistance," and eventually rises to a transcendent human concern. Here is a sentence-by-sentence explanation and a comprehensive appreciation.

I. Explanation by sentence

"There's lone smoke outside the Mustang."
The first sentence sets the sombre tone with a grand pen. "Mingsha Mountain" points to geographical coordinates, and its name carries a sonic and moving feeling, however the wordant pushes it farther with the word "out," forming a sense of spatial depth. "Lone smoke" is changed from Wang Wei's "Lone Smoke in the Desert," but the word "start" makes the static picture produce a dynamic sense of rising. The word "lonely" for smoke is both a literal expression of the sparse populated population of the Gobi and an expression of the life state of the crescent of crescents that exists alone in the sand. This sentence blends audio and visually to move the silence and immediately takes the reader into that famine world.

"The Gobi is a land of Tibetan people."
The second sentence moves from far to near, with a steep twist of the stroke. "The Gobi" takes over the desert image of the preceding sentence, and the word "hide" is applied very delicately - the seemingly silent Gobi hides traces of human life. This word "the world" elevated the existence of the crescent of crescents to the height of civilization's habitat. The word "hidden," which both describes geographical secrecy and implies the deep hidden meaning of treasure, paves the way for civilization to appear in the crescent of crescents below.

"Oasis for thousands of years turquoise,"
The third sentence of the previous film directly writes about the lunar spring. The word "oasis" clearly points to the subject, and the word "tough" is extremely life-changing - as if this greenness is difficult to "spit out" from the depths of the desert, and the words are a thousand words, which describe the difficulty of life blossoming. The placement of the word "millennium" reduces the momentary emerald to eternal perseverance, which is reminiscent of the tenacity of this bounded spring across a long history. This place is characterized by the emerald color of life, compared to the solitary smoke and the Gobi above, and the color contrast is strong, and the visual impact is extremely strong.

"There's no help to fight for your life."
The last pause expresses the feelings of the whole word and is the first high point of emotion. The word "fight for life" tears the poetic veil and points to the very nature of survival - not a laid-back oasis, but a struggle for the right to exist with the entire wild world. The three words "suffering without help" even penetrated the back of the paper, revealing the complete isolation of crescent moon spring. The sand and sea were besieged on all sides, the earth and the sky were insensitive, and this bluff water had no foreign aid to rely on, and all the struggles were borne alone. This sentence is evocative of the scene and gives ample momentum to the deep sorrow that follows.

“The slanting sun was down and the north wind was cold. It's difficult to get around.”
After three sentences, the sentence changes from a long sentence to a short one, and the rhythm suddenly becomes fast, like a drumbeat. A slight day is a dusk image that suggests that time is passing and the light is going to run out. "The north wind is cold" describes the harshness of the environment by the sense of touch. Two words and six words outline a picture of a cold day and night. "Difficult walks" may be both a personal experience of the phrase's journey on the ground, and a metaphor for the extraordinary difficulty of each remaining step in the dust of the years in the crescent of crescents. Three short sentences step by step, from the sight to the touch to the overall feeling, pushing the hardship to the limit.

"A tear,"
These four words stand as a sentence and are the most exciting image creation of the whole word. The phraser compares the crescent of crescents to "a tear," which is surprising and reasonable. It resembles tears - the crescent-shaped spring water is like a tear mark; It is like tears - isn't spending a thousand years alone in the desert the deepest sorrow of the earth? This metaphor extends far beyond the morphological dimension and gives the crescent of crescents an emotion and soul: it is the tear of the Earth, the tears of time, and the tear in which creation mourns this dry land. The image is a warning and a tremendous force.

"Where is the ultimate destiny?"
Accepting the image of tears, the writer looks up at the sky and asks questions. Heaven and earth are supposed to be the loving mother of all things, but in the face of this solitary tear, the earth seems to be absent. The word "where?" is a question, a search, and a profound confusion - if the earth and the earth have a heart, why should the heart endure to leave this tear alone for a thousand years? This sentence elevates personal feelings to a philosophical question at a time when man is a man, and the situation suddenly expands.

"What a pity."
The conclusion surprised everyone and closed the whole story with a retort. "Sorrow" is a common human feeling, and in the face of the tears of loneliness, who cannot afford to feel compassion? However, the author rejected it completely with the word "cannot." This is not ruthlessness, but a more robust attitude to life - the existence of the crescent of crescents is itself a miracle of struggle, and it does not require compassion. Compassion is pity for the weak, and the thousand-year battle for the life of the crescent has long gone beyond the need for sympathy. This sentence lifts the context from mourning to a sublime dignity of life.

II. Comprehensive appreciation

The most remarkable thing about this small order is its tight structure of cascading, echoing loops. The first film begins with the "lone smoke" from Mount Minsha, introduces the "hidden" human world in the Gobi from far and near, focuses on the oasis of the "millennium turquoise," and finally is bound by the "struggle for life without help," spatially from outside to inside, and emotionally from hidden to revealing. The next film spins the rhythm of a short three-word sentence, introducing the alarming image of "a tear" against the sad background of "a slanting day" and "a north wind," then jumps out a personal sentiment, asking the heavens where they are, and closing the entire film with the steady words "why should the heaven be sad?" The whole word is like a scroll, unfolding slowly and being fixed as eternal tension in the final retort.

The choice of imagery in words is extremely original. "Lone smoke" is the lone existence of life, "turquoise" is the symbol of the difficulty of life, and "a tear" is more of the soul image of the whole word - it takes the form of the crescent of crescents (the crescent is like a tear mark), The triple meaning of situation (a drop of water in the Gobi is like a tear in your eyes) and spirit (thousands of years of loneliness and resilience turn into sorrow and dignity) combine to make a compelling case.

In the emotional tone, the word presents a complex double character. On one side is a bleak foundation woven by "loneliness," "cold," "difficulty" and "tears," on the other side is the indomitable will through which "rise," "hide," "spit" and "argue." Instead of indulging in lamentation, the poet finds sublimity in the ultimate isolation - the crescent of crescents does not need compassion, its very existence is a struggle against waste, a string that gives it a human dignity that transcends compassion. This is reminiscent of Cao Cao's lofty stature as a "martyr in his twilight years," and the courage of existentialist philosophy when "thrown into the world" yet still "chooses by himself."

In the art of language, a lyricist has a very deep skill in writing. There is a tendency to rise in the city, a warmth to shelter in the city of Tibet, a strength to struggle in the city and a courage to fight for life in the city. The three short sentences in the preceding paragraph, such as the riding of iron and the ringing of swords and guns, form a sharp contrast to the long sentences in previous paragraphs. The concluding sentence, "What a pity it is," ends with a retort and leaves a limited sentence that allows the reader to reflect after his surprise.

In the contemporary style of old-fashioned poetry creation, which tends to be wild or ancient, this "confessional order" distinguishes itself with its profound ecological philosophy and robust aesthetic character. It not only sustains the majesty of Bingguo's poems and the elegance of Song's words, but also infuses modern people's awe and thinking about nature and life. That "tear" is not a token of weak compassion, but a thousand-year-old medal of life - and in the conclusion of "Oh my God," we read of a dignity of the earth, a noble spirit to be proud of life even in the harshest of circumstances.

Please pay tribute to each milestone

The longdada

The path of life is long and tortuous.

Every time we walk through an annual cycle, we deserve to be thankful.

Every time we walked a little way, we felt confident

Let's pay tribute to each of these milestones!

Every speck of dust in the journey

It's full of our sweat,

Every piece of sand

They are all in our heart.

Once again, let us salute the milestone.

Say hello to every little grass on the side of the road.

Smile at every mountain flower on the side of the road

Huge every tree on the hillside

Salute every mountain behind the tree.

Cheer up for the bright clouds on each mountain

Waving a flag to the blue sky over the colorful clouds

My heartfelt admiration for the sun and moon in the blue sky

My sincere wishes for the universe behind the sun and moon

I wish everyone we meet.

Good wishes to our loved ones, our lovers, our benefactors. Our friends, even our enemies... I sincerely wish them a happy life, a healthy life and a safe life!

Good luck with everything we encountered.

May we have good and tragic things, good and bad things, happy and disturbing things, painful things and joyous things.

May everything be organized and have a beginning and a end,

Reasonable, conscientious and righteous.

I wish every book we read.

We could all wake up more people.

Wish us every word,

They can touch more people.

Make this world a more welcoming place.

Wish us all the best for everything,

They can all be milestones,

Meet our descendants.

We salute every roadstone today.

It's really a tribute to our colorful lives!
